Don’t Over-Do Exfoliation and Drying

Exfoliation, cleaning, and drying are fine in moderation, but over-doing it can extract skin’s natural oils and throw off your moisture balance. Be gentle, and use skin-nourishing products.

Drink Plenty of Water

Water nourishes your body from the inside out, and benefits so much more than just the skin. Water is necessary so that all of your organs can operate properly, so show them some love. Don’t be shy, get at least 7-8 glasses of water per day (more if you are active). Your body will thank you with better energy, and gorgeous glowing skin!

Kick Bad Habits

Smoking, drinking alcohol excessively, and indulging in too much caffeine are NOT friends of moisturized skin! All of these things suck the moisture from your body, and can also cause premature wrinkles and aging (so NOT worth it!). Keep these activities to a minimum and keep your beautiful self hydrated.

Shield Yourself from the Elements

Exposing your skin to environmental factors like extreme sunlight, intense heat, and bitter cold can harm your skin's moisture levels severely. As the seasons change, limit exposure to these elements and you won't risk losing skin's hydrators to the environment!
